My entry to VaatiVidya's Demon Souls art competition.
Lore: Stepping through the colourless Deep Fog, The Elder giant Jürggelmir stands, older than the mountains surrounding him, and towering over the villages of the Riesenbach, a valley settlement on the outskirts of the Northern Limit.
He knew this would be his final journey, now on his last legs.
Exhausted and wounded, having fought his way through his fallen brothers now corrupted and malformed into demons. He wished to warn the menfolk who had settled in this valley's grassy hills of the oncoming danger, the colourless fog was spilling out from the borders of the north and with it, the demon scourge.
Now, he decided this was where he'd make his last stand.
Jürggelmir let out a mighty anguished howl so immense it was thought to crack open the very earth and readied himself for the coming battle as the fog swallowed him and the valley into the colourless abyss.
Archdemon Jürggelmir:
Many years later, after being transported through the sixth archstone, The Slayer of Demons discovers what became of what was once a great and noble warrior. Archdemon Jürggelmir, a shadow of his former self, wanders aimlessly. His garb turned to shreds, his armour brittle and broken.
